'The Odd Job' Director: Peter Medak (1978) Severin Blu-ray | 2K scan | Region Free

Dark comedy meets existential farce in this biting satire of middle-class malaise starring Graham Chapman (Monty Python) and David Jason (Only Fools and Horses).

When a despondent husband decides life is no longer worth living, he hires a professional killer to end it all - only to find that, once the arrangement is made, he has second thoughts. What follows is a sharply constructed spiral of absurd mishaps, with director Peter Medak mining both menace and hilarity from the pair's increasingly tangled relationship.

Special features include:
- Introduction by director Peter Medak
- Audio interview with Peter Medak
- Zoom reunion between actor David Jason and director Peter Medak
- Interviews with writer Bernard McKenna, co-producer Mark Forstater, actors Richard O'Brien, Carolyn Seymour and Simon Williams
