FROG® 90-Day Algae Barrier | Pool Algae Prevention

FROG® 90-Day Algae Barrier™ is a proactive, copper-based algae preventer delivered in Drop 'n Go™ pods. Drop the pods in your pool skimmer at the start of the swim season, run the pump for 24 hours, and the barrier prevents green, yellow, and black algae from establishing in your pool for the next 90 days. One package treats pools up to 20,000 gallons.

Most pool owners encounter algae the wrong way: it shows up first, then you scramble to treat it. By the time you can see the green tint forming on a wall or floating in the water, the algae colony is already established and takes serious chemistry (and elbow grease) to clear. Algae Barrier flips the equation — it lays down a continuous copper-based protective layer that destroys algae spores before they can grow into the colonies that cause outbreaks. No green water to fight, no shock-and-brush emergencies, no pool closure during recovery.

The pods make application as simple as it gets. Drop them in the skimmer, walk away, and the dry concentrated formula dissolves over 24 hours, distributing through your pool's circulation. After that, the barrier is in place — undetectable to swimmers, but actively hostile to algae spores trying to take hold.
