This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.
The body is wild olivewood with a Honduran rosewood ferrule
Medium sized, it is suited for a 210 Japanese knives.
Weight: 48g Length: 131.8mm (5.25”)
Handle is sanded to 800 grit then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.
Care :
- Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
- Do not put in dishwasher or soak in water for long periods of time.
- Oil on a fairly regular basis, nor sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer such as tru-oil as needed.
