This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.
The body is a very nice old stock Siam rosewood with curly mango ferrule and a white g10 and copper spacers
Medium sized, it is suited for a 210-240 Japanese knives.
Weight: 38g Length: 133.8 mm (5.35”)
Handle is sanded to 800 grit then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.
Care :
- Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
- Do not put in dishwasher or soak in water for long periods of time.
- Oil on a fairly regular basis, nor sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer such as tru-oil as needed.
