AUCTION - Psychedelic - Human Be-In - 1967 Headshop Poster - Very Good

Here's a very scarce original poster from San Francisco in 1967. Promoting the Summer of Love in the city of San Francisco, the poster promises "Free Celebrations, Happenings, Events, Ideas". There was also a local number to call for information. Super cool artwork of a map of the heavens, with Saint Francis forming his own constellation. Fabulous art by Bob Schnepf. We're not sure whose phone number it is, but the piece was clearly designed to attract folks to the city for the events of 1967, like the human Be-In and the Summer of Love. Gorgeous lettering in the prayer of Saint Francis, too. Printed across the Bay in Berkeley, CA, by Berkeley Bonaparte.

This quite rare 1967 original Bob Schnepf poster measures approximately 14" x 20 1/4". The piece is in Very Good condition, with pinholes in each corner, handling from being rolled, along with edge wear. Very San Francisco piece, to be sure.
